In 2006, Norman retired from his job at The Toy Soldier in Mystic, CT. He greeted thousands of visitors during his employment. Norman has posed with people from all over the world. While he misses seeing all the children, as well as his adoring fans, Norman enjoys his current life.
His days are now spent doing the following:
Hosting tea parties.
Writing his autobiography.
Posting on his blog.
Eating bananas.
Playing Bananagrams.
Reading to Betsy’s cats.
Hanging out with Merlin, the dog.
Searching eBay for rubber ducks.
Running a support group for retired stuffed animals.
Riding in his car with Lulu and Herbert (his two bears)
